The Garden of Hope is intended to offer a quiet place to reflect on the hope and healing that flows from the infinite love of our Lord.

The garden will be located at the north-west corner of the church, adjacent to the schoolyard, in a shaded area of the property.

The design is centered around a memorial wall and water feature surrounded by a series of raised planters which hold three trees, symbolizing the trinity.

The memorial wall in the garden will be a visible sign that offers hope and healing for hearts broken by abortion or miscarriage. This beautiful sacramental garden will provide us all the opportunity to come and sit among the flowers and fountains and reflect on God's love and peace.

To make such a garden a reality, we need your help. You can make a donation in honor of someone you love and their names will be commemorated as part of the garden.

GARDEN OF HOPE UPDATE

We are pleased to share that the Garden of Hope project has been well received by the Parish Community. Many families have already purchased bricks for loved ones while others have made donations to the fund. We thank you all for your support of this new project! Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions this week:

  • If you are purchasing a brick for a loved one, the bricks will be inscribed with the words, “In Loving Memory of”, and the name of the person. This request must be in by April 21st. The cost of a brick is $100.

  • If you want a name on the tree for unborn babies, the suggested donation is $25.00. The leaves will be inscribed with just the baby’s name. The tree for the babies is an ongoing ministry and there is no deadline for those names.

Please feel free to contact Jude Potter at 745-4914 or Bridget Demers at 746-8108 with any questions you may have.
