Lectors please note:If you are unable to read at your assigned Mass please attempt to find a substitute from the list of lectors on the back of the posted schedule and contact the lector coordinator Christian Phillips at lectors@saintdominicsbenicia.org or 747-1058. If you are unable to find a substitute or contact the lector coordinator, please contact the office at 747-7220 as well as the other scheduled lector so that they may attempt to find a substitute.If you feel that you may be doing the Mass alone, please try to find a substitute lector in the congregation and please offer to assist at Masses where it appears there is only one lector present. We really want to have two lectors at each Mass. For the 12:30 bilingual Mass, if the Sunday falls on an even day (Apr. 10th, 24th, etc.), the first reading and the Responsorial Psalms are in English, and the second reading is in Spanish. If the Sunday falls on an odd day (Apr. 3rd, 17th, etc.), the first reading and responsorial Psalms are in Spanish, and the second reading is in English. |
